Toughened glass is a safety glass which is approximately five times stronger than annealed glass.<\/p>\n<p>Appropriate for using as safety glass because it shutters into small, blunt edged fragments, which reduce the risk of injury.<\/p>\n<p>Glass panes should be drilled or edgeworked prior to toughening process.
